Some basic components and their uses are mentioned below
Resistor:- A passive component that offers electrical resistance to the electronic circuit.
The unit is Ohm (Ω).

Capacitor:- Also a passive component which adds capacitance to the circuit.
The capacitor has many uses in circuit. It can be used as a filter to smooth the output signal.
It is also used to store energy. The unit is Farad (F).

Inductor:- This passive component is also known as choke or coil.
It is used in circuit for signal processing and two or more inductors coupled with magnetic flux becomes a transformer.
